Objects: The objects of the Club are to provide for a personal and direct relationship between the Members and the Black Sheep Brewery and its products, and for member to benefit from merchandise, offers and events promoted specifically for them. Information of members will be made available to the Black Sheep Brewery for this purpose.
Membership: To become a member of the Club a person must:
- Make an application to join
- Pay the first subscription (Gold Ram and Silver Ewe only)
- Be admitted to Membership by the proprietor
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Accept these Membership Rules
- Be a UK resident (prices for overseas membership available on request)
Subscription: The annual subscription for membership is either £20 (Gold Ram status) £10 (Silver Ewe status) (inclusive of VAT at the prevailaing rate) or a free membership (Bronze Lamb status) and shall be payable on application for membership; this subscription rate will be revised annually in August. Membership is valid for one year until the month end. Such membership may be terminated when the subscription remains unpaid 28 days after renewal becomes due. Membership Packs will only be sent out once the subscription has been paid; please allow 28 days for delivery.
Benefits of Membership: Members shall enjoy the following benefits:
- A membership card entitling the member to free daytime tours at the Black Sheep Brewery Visitor Centre, subject to availability, on production of their Membership Card with an up to date picture. Pre booking is advisable.* GOLD AND SILVER MEMBERSHIPS ONLY
- A copy of the quarterly Old Bleater magazine published by the Black Sheep Brewery, for the duration of the membership. GOLD AND SILVER MEMBERSHIPS ONLY. Bronze Lamb status will be able to access the magazine online in PDF format.
- A unique Black Sheep Fanatics Club branded t – shirt (Gold Ram only)
- ‘Members discounts’ off food and/or accommodation at selected participating pubs and hotels that stock Black Sheep beers. These discounts vary from participating outlet to outlet, are updated on a quarterly basis and are subject to their own terms and conditions. All details concerning discounts, outlets, terms and conditions appear on the separate ‘Member Discounts’ information sheet.* GOLD AND SILVER MEMBERSHIPS ONLY
And… Exclusive Black Sheep Brewery ‘Member Offers’ as shall from time to time be offered at special member rates, for example collectibles, events, special merchandise etc. All details concerning these Member Offers including specific terms and conditions appear on the separate ‘Member Discounts’ information sheet.*
NB * The Membership Card can only be used by the member to whom it was issued, must be produced at the time of purchase, is subject to availability of offers, can not be used in conjunction with any offer and is not transferable for cash. The Membership Card is only valid once a recent photograph has been inserted, the card has been signed and the wallet sealed. Please also note discount at the Black Sheep Brewery Visitor Centre can only be used in the Sheepy Shop, not the Bistro or goods bought online.
Alteration of Rules: These rules may be added to, altered or revoked by the proprietor after giving 21 days notice of such addition, alteration or revocation.
